Why “memento mori”?
As Catholic Christians, we have a long tradition of remembering our death. We don’t think of death in a morbid, creepy fashion. We remember that one day we will die, and keep in mind that death is our passage to eternal life. Heaven is the goal, so to be prepared and ready for heaven, we live to imitate Jesus and the saints. Live each day with love and striving for goodness, so that when death comes, we will be ready to meet Jesus!

Sirach 28:6 tells us “remember your last days, set enmity aside; remember death and decay, and cease from sin!”

Why a skull?
Traditionally, many saints are pictured with a skull on their desks & in their living spaces, as a reminder to them that death is real, and that they need to live faithfully devoted to Jesus. We need not fear death when we have faith that Jesus conquered death for us.

This sticker is waterproof and UV resistant, .5mm thick. It has a glossy finish.

It is *not* a vinyl sticker. I used a different printer for this MADE IN THE USA sticker. I’m always happy to support USA-made, which means in this case that the materials are different.
