Embrace the Ordinary vol. 9
Good morning! I am running a little later than usual on posting this link-up…because I had a chance to sleep in for the first time in a loooong time. It was nice, although I do also (shockingly) enjoy being up earlier than everyone else and having some quiet in the mornings.
These two are up by 6:45 (or sooner) every morning. Every. Single. Morning. It isn’t so bad now that they can get their own cereal…but then they aren’t full and need more food. They are active, growing boys! I can’t imagine what life is going to be like when they are teens!!!

Hi Gina! I promise I’m not stalking you… but once again your life is a mirror image of mine 🙂 I got to sleep until 8 today!!!!! That hasn’t happened in a billion years (it feels like). One way I try to stay sane is to be up and alert before my kids get up, but our boys are up at 6 every day, so sleeping in is a serious luxury!
You’re guys are so sweet. I love the photo, especially the worn knees on the jeans! I like to say that worn knees and dirt means they must have been having fun 🙂
Haha! I wish we were in the same neck of the woods, I’m sure we’d get along fabulously. 😉
Hey Gina, I linked up a post of 5 things I loved about this week. They were all pretty ordinary, so I hope that’s OK.
Not sure how I’d survive if my kids were early risers. Teaching them to get their own breakfast was one of the best things I ever did as a mom. 😉
Of course it’s ok! I’m so glad you linked up this week!
I evidently love taking pictures of my children reading. Do you suppose it is because they’re quiet? I’ll never tell. LOL
So glad you got to sleep in! That is always soooo sweet! And, love the photo of your boys!
