Embrace the Ordinary, 2018 vol. 7

2018 came and went, with so many blessings, challenges, struggles, successes, and lessons that I’m unsure I’ll know all that I learned (or was supposed to learn) until I die. I’ve been scrolling through pictures from the year to try to unpack it all, and I can’t. Not yet. It was our busiest year ever, by far. The soccer games and gymnastics competitions, all the practices, the school things (5 kids under our roof are school-age now!), the day-to-day care of my husband and children . . .

So I end 2018 with a snapshot from Christmas, which made me think about love and the work put into this year. Love fueled me through thick and thin, as did all the prayers from family and friends.

Love called me away from the computer 8,000 times. 😉

Love works behind the scenes, away from the blog, elbow-deep in daily life.

And that about sums up 2018. (though I do hope to come back with a slightly more in-dept post to highlight the year).
