His Grace Is Enough Back to School Devotional

one thing you’re missing for
back-to-school

psst-it’s not on any school supply lists. The one thing is time for YOU with the Lord.

Get the His Grace Is Enough back to school devotional and fill your cup so you can be a source of peace for your family.

i need this.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You’ve spent the last few months slathering on sunscreen, loading up snacks, filling drinks, vacationing, reading for the library summer reading program, roasting marshmallows, and living the best summer life. Now you’re prepping for back-to-school and gathering classroom supplies and textbooks…but

You feel exhausted already

You and me both, friend. I always take a slow start for our homeschool, but the prep-work and thinking about two high schoolers, teaching two co-op classes, and making lunches has me ready for a nap.

You feel like something is missing

You have triple-checked your supply lists and even carefully organized the books. Or at least you know where you stashed the bags in your closet, right? Still, there’s a nagging feeling that you need something else.

With all the prep, you forgot to pray

Forgive us, Lord. We’re busy moms trying to do our best to keep these kids active, clothed, fed, and prepped for another school year. And *gulp* we let our personal prayer time slide.

What if you could…

dispel all the feelings of being unqualified, unprepared, and exhausted? What if you could take just a few minutes each day to fill your cup and lean into the graces the Lord has to offer you at every moment?

Meet the author

I’m Gina, a homeschooling mom since 2010. Personal prayer wasn’t a priority in my life for many years, until one day when I read a quote that gave me perspective and hope.

To paraphrase Saint Frances of Rome, a married woman/mom needs to find God in whatever she’s doing. If we find God in the midst of those duties (like diapers and dishes and homework), then we can pray.

You don’t have to wake up at 5am to pray. You can pray at the breakfast table while your kids poke at their eggs or devour their lucky charms. You can spend 5 minutes reading one or two verses while your homeschooled kiddos do a math drill. Or you can read and pray while waiting in the school pick-up line.

Get the ONE Necessary Thing

Let’s be honest. The school supplies are pretty necessary, but YOUR peace will set the tone for the school year. Fill your cup and strengthen yourself today and every day. I can get you started with the verses and encouragement in His Grace is Enough.
