5 Favorite Things To Do in the Morning
{One}
Pray, the morning offering and with Blessed is She: I am still not so perfect with this habit, but my days are noticeably more manageable when I do take time for quiet and prayer. I can still have a crappy day, but having begun in prayer, I feel calmer and more able to manage each moment. I can have a fantastic day, and be more aware of God’s presence and blessings, because I started by being with Him.
{Two}
Some fitness: I kind of laugh at feel like a liar when I have this on my list, because lately I rarely squeeze even 10 pushups into my day (though I have stellar intentions)…but the fact remains, fitness in the morning gets me moving and energized and it feels great. If only I could make it happen before my starving boys need food…
{Three}
Smother at least one kid with hugs and kisses: This is especially fun with my 10 year old, who thinks she can dodge me. And I can’t resist baby cheeks, either.
{Four}
Have a cuppa. Coffee, Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Chai tea…I love them.
{Five}
Plan dinner: Checking my meal plan in the morning lets me know what to pull out of the freezer, and plan what I veggies I can prep earlier in the day to save time later.

Nice post. I enjoyed it from top to bottom. You might get a kick out of knowing that you are the very first person I ever followed on Instagram (just registered this morning … found you through the Conference for Catholic Moms). I think comments can be deleted by the blogger or the comment author. Maybe there is an option for that on Jenna’s blog?
My morning routine is very similar! Though I do lack often in the fitness area. Lately I’ve found if I make myself a cup of coffee and sit in bed with my Bible and coffee I get a much quieter calmer start to my day. 🙂

Gina, you have such a lovely blog! I love your list…it is much the perfect a.m. for me – running, prayer, coffee, affection and I would have to add offering affirmations to my husband before he heads out the door to work.
